Popping Down to the Shops

Had the chance to browse two new vintage boutiques recently. They just opened in the last month or so.

The area near my parent’s house has had a little shopping area for the last 80 years called the Plaza District. About 10 years ago it started to get really run down. The only things surviving being a dollar store and a laundry mat. Now it has a brand new renovated old movie theatre which now does plays. A nice coffee shop. A little Mexican restaurant, a hair salon, and a tattoo parlor.

And the aforementioned vintage shops. One called Bad Granny and next door one called Curious and Curiouser. They are both really cool. The first rents booth space and is mostly clothing and accessories, yay! It is packed, you could spend hours in there. The one next door is a little more antique shop. Lots of furniture, dishes and knick knacks.

They will both certaintly be putting a dent in my paycheck.
